The Messy Artist offer year-round art classes for children 18 months through adulthood. Their bright, colorful studio is the perfect place for a kid’s birthday party! At The Messy Artist, art lessons for kids entertain and enrich their brains, bodies, and hearts. At all levels, they are child-centered, enabling students to explore and learn, create and grow. Children learn the principles of art, color theory, art history, and advanced technical skills as they create beautiful, original masterpieces.

At The Messy Artist, they follow the “hands off” rule for children’s art projects. They feel that even at the age of two, children take great pride in their work, and may become annoyed when you “help” them by painting or gluing on their picture. Kids may need some basic instruction on how to use certain materials. However, they can instruct and provide gentle guidance without doing the project for them. At the Messy Artist, they love to see kids experiment and come up with new and wonderful ways of using art materials!
