Codey Arena: The Best Ice-Skating Parties in New Jersey!

The Richard J. Codey Arena is an ice hockey and ice skating arena in West Orange, New Jerse. The arena is named for former Governor of New Jersey Richard Codey. The Codey Arena is owned and operated by the Essex County Department of Park, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs. The facility is home to many groups and organizations including the Essex Figure Skating Club, the Garden State Speed Skating Club, the Devils Youth Ice Hockey Club and the Seton Hall University Men’s Ice Hockey Club. The arena is also located in close proximity with other popular nearby locations such as the Turtle Back Zoo.

The arena offers many programs including Learn to Skate camps, Figure Skating Camps, Private lessons, and birthday parties. Currently, ice-skating birthday parties include a party room for 3 hours and a per-hour private ice rental. In addition to the room and ice rental, Codey Arena also offers a very attractive birthday party catering menu featuring a variety of appetizers, platters, subs, salads, entrees, sides and beverages.
