Carrie and Arthur Dillard established The Dillard House in 1917, although the land had been in the family since 1794. This mountain home originated as a six-room inn, but has since expanded to encompass 92 rooms and 28 guest cottages. Located near scenic Tallulah Gorge, there are many spots to tour in the local area, including vineyards, shops, whitewater rafting and more.
On site, The Dillard House offers a farm zoo and plenty of activities for children and families. The Dillard House Stables are a favorite for those who love horses. The Dillard House Restaurant is proud to serve up generous portions of homemade comfort food. Many of the recipes have been passed down through generations.
